Bukura students for internship in Germany
Bukura Agricultural College has signed a letter of intent to engage in students' internship in Germany under the German-African Internship Program. Mr Markus Rosskopf of AgrarKontakte International (AKI) signed for a German partner during the visit to the college on 2nd October 2019 as part of the “Skills Initiative for Africa”. While Dr. Richard Wekesa signed for the College.
The Skills Initiative for Africa is a cooperation program for institutions of both practical training and higher education in Africa.
AKI is a German NGO in Baden-Wuerttemberg (Southern Germany) with over 30 years of experience in international projects in the field of education and practical training in the agri-food sector e.g. trainee program for young farmers from Russia and other countries coming to Germany to work and live on a German family run farm for 6 months.
According to Markus AKI is interested in a mutually beneficial working relationship with Bukura Agricultural College to strengthen the exchange of knowledge and practical experience in agriculture.
